How to format your wiki page

PRINCIPLES:

1. Content first, then pictures and colors and sizes
2. You don't need to have ginormous titles that are bolded and underlined and colorful.
3. Don't use the first person ("I"). This article isn't about you.
4. Not every question on the research sheet will apply to you. The questions that don't apply, don't address.
5. Here are some categories that you can use to organize your information:

First paragraph: "The [insert monument] was a theater built by..../a temple on the Hill." etc. Explain in the most basic way what your monument was.

historical background (e.g. "the curia julia was built to replace old senate house, the curia hostilia, built hundreds of years ago by the third king of Rome Tullus Hostilius, which had fallen into disrepair.")

construction and physical description--describe where and how your monument was built, and what it looked like in the ancient world. Good place to include pictures of ancient models.

function--not really applicable for people in the "monuments" domain, but important for things like the temple of vesta or the "entertainment" domain.

legacy-- what happened to it, if it was used for anything else over time, what is there today. Good place to include a picture of the ruins.

references-- You must include a list of resources that you got your information from. Do not put things like "google.com." That is a search engine, not a resource. You should have at least three.

DO NOT PLAGIARIZE. There's a reason why I had you write on the research sheet. I can tell when you us wordings that are not yours; even if you replace a word here and there, that is still plagiarism. Put it in your own words. You should never be copying down a sentence verbatim, even when you are taking notes.
